Andrew Romaner
Andrew is a field epidemiologist with a masters degree in public health, which provides him with a unique lens on both environmental issues and the impact of economic development activities.
Andrew has over 15 years experience working in the field for non-profits across the globe, including South Sudan and Ghana, as well as domestically for AmeriCorp during Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, and with the US Forest Service Rocky Mountain Region Fire Management team.
His lengthy track record for world + health strategy includes a second place finish at the World Crowdfunding Festival, a regional "Startup of the Year" award from Tech.Co, a deal with a top ten national accelerator program, and most recently, second place at Techstars New Orleans Startup Sprint.

Alex Sloan
Alex is a Marine Engineer + Certified Project Management Professional in shipbuilding, marine R&D, and offshore energy projects.
He has 13+ years managing engineering, developing strategy, proposals, processes, and reporting in marine technology development environments. His experience spans from early-stage R&D/prototyping to design and planning for serialized mass production.
His biggest points of pride include vessel construction ops engineering for Block Island Wind Farm, HM&E design and construction for the Navy's history-making Overlord USV prototypes, floating wind R&D at Principle Power, and most recently serving as Development Manager for CIP/Vineyard Offshore's first U.S. floating wind project.
